Decathlon Partners with Digital Marketing Agency First Page to Boost SEO Performance

Integrated digital marketing agency First Page has announced the signature of a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) traffic campaign with DECATHLON.

DECATHLON is a French sporting goods retailer with over 1,500 stores globally across 57 countries and DECATHLON United are now 96,002 employees worldwide. In Hong Kong their operations span across 3 stores located in Causeway Bay, Mongkok and Tseung Kwan O – with the overall mission to “making sports accessible to the many and provide an amazing 360’ customer experience”.

DECATHLON selected a partner for SEO based on the ability to  understand target audiences and markets, as well as delivering business impact. First Page presented a proposal strategically designed to utilise Google Search (Hong Kong) as the appropriate channel to raise brand awareness through the use of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

Under the campaign, First Page will be responsible for increasing organic, -non branded website traffic, focusing on relevant sports categories. First Page utilises a systematic approach to identify product categories presenting opportunities to rank & drive first page visibility to impact DECATHLON’s bottom line.

DECATHLON has 70 sport goods categories and is in the process of expanding market share across these categories to further solidify its position in Hong Kong. First Page will further support this ambition through digital content creation, onsite optimisation from a technical perspective and continuous backlink profile optimisation.
