The “People Also Ask” section, also known as the PAA box for short, is a series of questions and answers that show up related to the user’s search. This is an example of a search engine results page (SERP) feature and how the search engine decides to show users results to their search. These questions and answers pop up because according to Google, they are also popular searches that are related to the user’s inquiry and may be helpful. There is no limit to the number of questions that can show in the PAA box and depending on the search the format can be a short snippet of text or a link to a video. Currently, there isn’t enough data to say if the PAA box helps with search rankings.
