Lars Maehler:
– Hey guys, I got my main man, Aaron, here from HubSpot. Thanks for joining us.

Aaron:
– Thanks for having me.

Lars Maehler:
– We just completed an amazing event with Google as well. Very excited about how everything turned out.

Aaron:
– Yeah.

Lars Maehler:
– I think that was a good run.

Aaron:
– Yeah.

Lars Maehler:
– I wanted to briefly talk about, kind of, giving you guys a bit of more of an insight into HubSpot as well, and why they think of Hong Kong as such a great market. So first things first, like, what really brought HubSpot to Hong Kong in the first place.

Aaron:
– I think that is a big question, Lars. There are multiple factors that attracted us to this market. So our business model has always been, when there’s demand it could pull us in, rather than us pushing for something. Our whole methodology is around inbound over here, so less of an outbound. So, I think to answer your question over here, we believe that Hong Kong serve as a gateway for us to the whole North Asian region, given that people over here uses a unique sets of tools. However, having said that, a majority of audiences over here uses common tools that Westernized countries uses as well. You know Google, you have Facebook, you have Twitter. It’s very common. Given that we are an American company, of course, designed for that, we thought that that could be replicated, that could be decoratively served over here for local audiences. And it doesn’t hurt when we have a good partner, like yourself, in Hong Kong that help us foster and reach that. But overall, we’re excited about the Hong Kong market, given the sheer market size over here and the potential for us to attack, given some parentry in the whole greater region.

Lars Maehler:
– Why have you chosen First Page to kind of help you out on this journey into Hong Kong?

Aaron:
– I think, again, there are a few reasons here and there. I think the one thing that First Page shared that is very unique as compared to our standard partners, is their skillset, number one. Being all on one platform, that’s not only to attract traffic for prospects, but also social sharing, converting them, closing them, and also like, most recently, being a sales CRM crew for a lot of businesses, more and more often, we need a well equipped partner to deliver our services because we are just a software. The software won’t serve any purposes if the user can’t use it or don’t have the way to use it. So, a partner that can speak a local language, that know the business culture, that know what is happening on the ground, is highly crucial over here, which First Page fit the bill nicely, that is one. Second, would be, the regional presence. So we serve a lot of clients that have regional presence, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Korea. One commonly asked question would be, hey Aaron, can we have just one point of contact, one agency partner that can do everything on HubSpot for us?

Lars Maehler:
– Yeah.

Aaron:
– More likely than, more often than not, we don’t have the answer. We always like, yeah let me, it’s not a troublesome, this isn’t cumbersome. We can have a few partners servicing you, right, but that sort of defeats the purpose of why people uses HubSpot because we are an all-in-one–

Lars Maehler:
– Supposed to make your life easier.

Aaron:
– Supposed to make your life easier, right. So given First Page regional presence, having offices across the Asia region, I think that’s one important point why we are working very closely with you guys.

Lars Maehler:
– Yeah, no I completely agree. I think we personally use HubSpot. It’s been an amazing tool on helping us win in the lead generation realm as well. I look forward into collaborating with you guys more on an event basis, to continue and solidify our partnership as well in the future.

Aaron:
– Yep.
